Energy Psychology is a revolutionary, quick, and painless way of relieving trauma, depression, anxiety, and phobias
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) September 17, 2009
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Energy Psychology Techniques: A Comparison is the newest DVD series by Jef Gazley, LMFT, D.CEP. It consists of a 5 DVD set that discusses in detail the origin and symptoms of PTSD, the principles of Eastern Medicine which is the basis of energy psychology, and compares and contrasts the main energy psychology techniques. The DVDs have a didactic component and demonstrations of the techniques.
"Energy Psychology is a revolutionary, quick, and painless way of relieving trauma, depression, anxiety, and phobias," said Jef Gazley, LMFT, D.CEP and developer of Tri-Brain Trauma Therapy. "These techniques work because they access and modify the deeper part of brain which is something that traditional talk therapy simply cannot do. These tools cut treatment time by at least half. Other books and DVDs have presented individual energy psychology schools, but this is the only one that compares these techniques in detail."
For years the psychiatric community has recognized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or CBT as the most effective therapeutic approach, but it is only capable of affecting change in the surface brain or prefrontal cortex and the limbic system to a lesser degree. Freud's psychoanalysis uses insight which again is aimed at the prefrontal cortex. Energy psychology works on the deeper parts of the brain in the limbic system, medulla oblongata, and the individual cells within the mind/body continuum. This is where the locus of many psychiatric problems resides and this is where they must be fixed.
"I suffered for years from a crushing fear of flying which traditional counseling did not fix. Energy psychology made it possible for me to fly for my job and I now even am taking flying lessons," said Brad who is man in his mid 30's.
"These techniques were the only thing that helped my son get over his phobia and also helped his ADD," said Heather who is a mother of a 10 year old boy.
"I was amazed how quick and painlessly I was able to get over the traumas of my life," was how Angela, a middle-age woman described her reactions to energy psychology.
"I was very skeptical of these techniques at first, but am so grateful for how much better I feel. My body really does remember everything that ever happened in my life." is how Dan, an adult male described his experiences.
