Dunn&Co. Receives Graphis' Highest International Award for Creativity

Tampa agency's campaign for The ALS Association Florida Chapter selected among the top ten print advertising campaigns worldwide.

Dunn&Co. has been selected by Graphis, The International Journal of Visual Communication, as one of ten Platinum Award winners worldwide, for the agency's print campaign developed on behalf of The ALS Association Florida Chapter. The Graphis Awards serve as a platform for outstanding work in design, advertising and photography.

As part of Graphis' Advertising Annual 2010, Dunn&Co. was honored in the category of Public Service for its print campaign Piece by Piece, which uses graphic imagery of "stolen" mannequin limbs to metaphorically portray the destructive effects of ALS, often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease." Dunn&Co. donated $225,000 worth of creative services to develop and launch the Piece by Piece campaign, which has become the most successful ALS awareness effort to date in the state of Florida.

"This recognition reflects the exceptional talent of our agency, and it is especially significant to be honored for the Piece by Piece campaign because of our commitment to The ALS Association."

In addition to its Graphis Platinum Award for Piece by Piece, Dunn&Co. also received two Advertising Gold Awards for print ads created for client Zodiac vodka.

ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a neurodegenerative disease that attacks both upper and lower motor neurons and causes degeneration throughout the brain and spinal cord, resulting in muscle weakness and atrophy.
