ALCiE Software Interfaces with Oracle Financials Software

ALCiE, an Oracle-based ERP/Accounting software, processes transactions using General Ledger Accounts defined in Oracle Financials. As a result, ALCiE can be interfaced with Oracle Financials software, opening the door to additional integrated solutions for existing Oracle Financials customers.

Montreal, Quebec (PRWEB) September 17, 2009 -- ALCiE Integrated Solutions Inc. ("AIS"), a developer and implementer of business software and ERP solutions, announces the successful adaptation of ALCiE applications to enable interfaces with Oracle Financials.

Based on a best-fit solution for an AIS customer, modifications were made to the ALCiE Inventory Management and Purchase Order modules, such that transactions can be processed using a set of the General Ledger Account segments defined in Oracle Financials. Accordingly, this enables ALCiE and Oracle Financials to be interfaced at designated points within each system. This development means that all Inventory and Purchasing transactions in ALCiE that affect the General Ledger can now be validated against a G/L Account structure that is common to both ALCiE and the Oracle Financials system, ensuring the integrity of uploaded/transferred transactions from one system to the other.

As a result of this endeavor, AIS has created a bridge from ALCiE to Oracle Financials. Importantly, this creates the possibility of extending the interface points between the full set of ALCiE modules and other applications within Oracle Financials.
