SouthCoast Media Group to Host Interactive Marketing Seminar for Local Business by Borrell Associates

"Main Street Goes Interactive: How Local Businesses Use the Internet to Grow" is the next in an ongoing seminar series presented by SouthCoastToday and the Standard-Times.

New Bedford, MA (PRWEB) September 17, 2009 -- "Main Street Goes Interactive: How Local Businesses Use the Internet to Grow" is the next in an ongoing seminar series presented by SouthCoastToday and the Standard-Times. At the seminar, New Bedford area businesses will learn what local consumers are buying online; discover ways to increase sales with interactive advertising, and find out what local businesses in their field are budgeting for interactive advertising now and in the future.

The SouthCoast Media Group seminar is designed to present local businesses with valuable know-how and usable market intelligence they can apply to target more potential local customers on the Internet right away. It will be presented by Borrell Associates - a leader in Internet advertising information and techniques, with a client list that includes Google, The New York Times, Washington Post and Microsoft. Borrell VP, Mr. Bill Caudill, will share his expertise and the results of Borrell's extensive research to give businesses the tools and know-how they need to develop a decisive competitive edge in the crowded online marketplace.

"Hosting these seminars for our local community is very exciting," said Leslie Poulin, market development manager for SouthCoast Media Group. "We are pleased to be sharing our knowledge and data about the market with SouthCoast businesses."

Each one hour session will highlight key market indicators, proven practices, and applications for building a sound foundation for Internet marketing. Four identical sessions will be held at the Standard-Times offices (25 Elm Street; New Bedford, MA). Seminar times are 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 3:00 pm. One lucky attendee will even win an Apple iPod Touch 8GB.
