Anaheim, CA (PRWEB) September 18, 2009
MAXxess Systems today announced eFusion, the first of a new class of security management systems.
Electronic Security has become an essential element of virtually all of today's business operations. Traditional system architectures for Electronic Security have been designed to scale out - in terms of numbers of end points monitored and controlled - smoothly and cost effectively. MAXxess' eAXxess system is an excellent example of this architecture.
Business needs today are also obliging Electronic Security systems to scale up - in terms of addressing a much wider set of requirements in substantially more complex environments - as well as to scale out.
These needs drive a system architecture that is significantly different from traditional Electronic Security architectures. MAXxess has responded to this need with the eFusion system.
Bruce Gerbl, MAXxess VP of Sales for North and South America stated "We designed eFusion to bring a new type of modularity and to address the three target areas of cost, risk and compliance."
Gerbl continued, "To control costs, eFusion allows our customers to purchase only what they need and only when they need it. They can select the modules that best fit their risk and compliance needs and they don't have to buy any software that was designed to handle issues that are outside of their need set."
"Best of all", concluded Gerbl, "as our customer's needs change, eFusion can adapt to and accommodate those changes."
A partial listing of eFusion modules includes access control, eBuilding, eTour, eROAM, ViewPoint, WebPoint, RemotePoint, Visitor Management and Badging. eFusion not only provides a unified operating environment for security but also a bridge between the traditional, proprietary, world of security systems and the emerging IP-based open systems world.
The eFusion Server provides a platform for database connection, IP communications and sensor Integration. The scalable architecture can distribute the server, SQL server and communications services across multiple PCs. All servers can be separated and off-site.
MAXxess also provides the highest level of availability for security management and access control systems. eFusion can also eliminate single points of failure, protecting the user from unplanned server, storage or network failures as well as planned downtime due to reconfiguration, hardware, and software upgrades. eFusion also protects from data loss and corruption even during site failures or major disasters.
eFusion is a smart infrastructure that adapts to customer needs. It is an integrated framework similar to that used extensively in the IT world. eFusion can, in turn, integrate the MAXxess EndPoint system for supporting multiple sites and consolidating your operational decision making.
Lee Copland, Managing Director of MAXxess EMEA stated "eFusion has three-dimensional scalability. We scale by function, by capacity and by organization. It is this last area of scalability, the ability to connect multiple divisions and organizations so that they can be treated as one logical unified unit, which makes eFusion so desirable for mid to Enterprise size solutions."
eFusion is available for immediate shipment.
