Former Yahoo! Ben Pickering Joins Strutta as CEO

Silicon Valley Veteran Moves to Vancouver, BC to head Online Consumer Promotions Company

Strutta.com Media Inc., developer of the first self-serve, scalable platform for online contests and promotions, today announced the appointment of Ben Pickering as Chief Executive Officer. Pickering succeeds the company's founder, Danny Robinson, who remains as Strutta's Chairman.

Pickering joins Strutta from Yahoo!, where he held a variety of strategic roles in Yahoo!'s audience division, global sales organization, and advertising marketplaces group. At Yahoo!, Ben played a key role in structuring and negotiating many successful promotional campaigns with major brand advertisers and agencies, including the first large scale user generated content (UGC) based promotion to run on Yahoo! Most recently, Ben led strategic initiatives and was responsible for business operations for Yahoo!'s display advertising marketplace. The appointment will enable Strutta to build on its recent success with campaigns for such clients as Edelman Digital and Ogilvy Public Relations.
