The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International has received a generous $25,000.00 donation from the Paul Revere Society and Dr. Michael Savage, Syndicated radio host, noted author of over 20 books and Director of the Paul Revere Society.
The Fund was Founded by Dian Fossey in 1978 and is dedicated to the conservation of gorillas and their habitats in Africa through anti-poaching, monitoring, research, education and support of local communities.
The Paul Revere Society is a patriotic organization with a core charter calling for the protection of this country's Borders, Language & Culture. Its Director Dr. Michael Savage, is best known for his syndicated radio show "The Savage Nation". Its audience, ranges from 8 to 10 million listeners on close to 400 stations across America, making his show the 3rd largest radio talk show in the country.
Dr. Michael Savage is well aware of the real threat that poachers pose to the diminishing population of gorillas in Africa. "It's a deep-rooted problem that must be fixed before the only evidence we have left of this great animal is a photograph," said Dr. Savage. This $25,000.00 donation will surely help the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund to protect the gorillas and stop the poaching.
The Paul Revere Society and Dr, Savage pledged the $25,000.00 to the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund in June 2009.
