FL2, a high-end, full-service interactive agency, has been nominated for a .Net Award in the Best Use of API category. Voting is now underway until October 11, 2009. The site has also recently won several awards including Communication Arts' Webpick of the Day on April 20, FWA's Site of the Day on May 3, and the Interactive Media Council's Outstanding Achievement Award in Web Design/Development. The company's new site was also the focus of a feature article in W.E.B., Korea's top web design magazine available on newsstands now.
FL2 has garnered national and international attention for its creativity, clean visual design, functionality, and ease of use. The site is rooted heavily in what have become two of FL2's signature trademarks—typographic elements and innovative transitions, as featured in the company portfolio section.
As part of the new digital agency site, FL2 created a Twitter feed—Oops. I Tweeted My Pants. This section of the site leverages the Twitter API, allowing site visitors to follow FL2 employees in real time. While it's a great way for FL2 followers to catch up on the company’s Twitter activity, it also showcases FL2's recent obsession with data visualization. The site aggregates Twitter statistics and displays them in unexpected ways, creating a strong visual impact. .Net magazine has currently nominated this portion of the site for the best use of API category in the .Net Awards. Users looking for more elaborate messaging than an FL2 Tweet can visit the WordPress blog, which is also featured on the company’s site. The blog highlights new releases and company related activities, as well as digital experiments the development team is currently working on.
The one feature that truly rounds out the user experience for this website is a portal simply referred to as "Cam Yourself," where users can literally leave any message they desire by tapping into their webcam through the FL2 site and recording a post in real time. This feature has been very popular; gathering over 300 submissions since launch from all around the world.

FL2 won a 2008 Best in Show W3 Award for the Orinda Wilder website, two 2008 Silver W3 Awards for its Riverfront Park website, and a 2008 W3 Gold Award in the Self-Promotion category for its former website. The Riverfront Park site was also one of five sites nominated in the Experimental category in the 2008 Pixel Awards competition and the 2009 Webby Awards in the Real Estate Category. The Cigarette is Dead was also an official 2009 Webby Honoree. In addition, FL2's website for marquee skate brand Vision Street Wear was selected by Communication Arts as a winner in the Interactive Annual 14.
