Air Ambulance of the Year
Birmingham, Hong Kong (PRWEB) September 27, 2009
AirMed Asia, Asia's only CAMTS certified air ambulance company, has announced the addition of a state-of-the-art neonatal isolette in Hong Kong which will enable the company to transport critically ill infants and other pediatric patients on its medical flights.
The isolette with environmental controls also includes a ventilator and low flow air/oxygen blender. In addition to the multiple electrical outlets, dual inverters, medical gas systems, dual air compressors, and suction pumps contained in AirMed's custom designed medical bases onboard the aircraft, this specialized equipment will enable medical teams and doctors to better manage the intensive care treatment of the neonatal patient. AirMed's medical teams are accustomed to the complexity of both long and short-range medical flights.
