We wanted to create a system of designing and ordering that allows customers to keep creative control over their business image and brand and make intuitive and fun
San Jose, CA (PRWEB) September 19, 2009
BusinessCards.com, the leader in online printing solutions for businesses and professionals, has just made it easier to create custom business cards and stationery online. The online printing company has launched their powerful new online editor that allows users to quickly create their own customized business cards and stationery.
The new editor is easy to use and is packed with features and a growing library of fonts, graphics, backgrounds, layouts and designs that give users creative freedom in this new webtop publishing environment.
Clients can start off with a basic business card template and simply, add their own contact information. Users can freely move any object on the card (text, logos), change the layout with one click, and add or change the logos, graphics and paper to enhance their cards and stationery.
Uploading custom full color backgrounds is a powerful new feature that allows users to design templates using full color pictures and graphics with a full bleed. By submitting the image at the larger 3.75 x 2.25 inch size, it guarantees that the images that extend to the edges of the card will be printed perfectly. Once the image is uploaded, the customer can view the image of the card as the finished product, without the bleed and is free to add editable text, shapes, graphics and logos without disturbing the customer's background.
The new editor also supports tabbed projects and Save/Save As functions, making it easier to organize and manage accounts. Multiple projects can be opened or started and will open in new tabs, like pages in a browser. Compare different versions of a name card, or use the same template with a different name on each. Use the 'Save As' option to give that card a specific name, making it easier to track. Then use 'Save' to save changes made and keep it up to date.
Another new feature allows users to view the pricing by quantity directly from the editor and change the pricing based on quantity or color combination intuitively. Simply by changing or adding an ink color in spot color mode, for example, and you can see the price increase while you are still designing.
