BRIO (meaning "lively" or "full of life") is a casual, white-tablecloth restaurant serving authentic, northern Italian cuisine. The subtitle, "Tuscan Grille" is descriptive in the menu that features wood-grilled and oven-roasted steaks, chops and seafood, similar to what one would find in an authentic ristorante in Tuscany. BRIO's philosophy is "to eat well, is to live well"; which is why they only use the finest and freshest ingredients along with Tuscan cooking methods such as wood-fired ovens and a wood-burning grill and place an emphasis on serving generous portions of prime steaks and chops, made-from-scratch pasta specialties, and flatbreads. There is also an ample dessert menu and a full wine list. BRIO brings the pleasure of the Tuscan country villa to the American city.
Additional offerings - and a popular feature at other locations - are the BRIO Brunch, available Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. and the $2.95 "Taste Tuscany" Bar Menu, featuring standouts such as Shrimptini (Shrimp cocktail), Beef Carpaccio, mini BRIO Bistecca burgers and several flatbreads and bruschettas for a very satisfying and economical $2.95 per-item price Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. until closing. The restaurant offers a home and office-catering menu for special events and business occasions.
The beautiful new 20,000-square foot Tampa location, at 2223 N. West Shore, will offer indoor seating for 190 guests and al fresco dining for 44 on the Italian-style terrace. The second floor of the venue has been designed to host events with six private rooms and two outdoor patios. Three of the private rooms are adjacent to an outdoor patio and three private rooms are attached to outdoor patio space allowing various opportunities to configure space to accommodate parties of 16-225. The upper level event space was additionally designed with a separate kitchen and bar area as well as private restrooms to service events exclusively and ensure attention to detail on banquet menus as well as an exceptional guest experience.
BRIO will be open seven days a week Sunday-Thursday from 11 am to 10 pm and Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 11 pm. Executive Chef Freddy Sevilla and General Manager Marc Hermann will head the management team.
