Palm City, Fla. (PRWEB) September 22, 2009
The Florida Self Storage Association (FSSA) had standing room only for the Education Session in Jacksonville, FL.
Association members traveled long distances to attend our FREE Education Session in Jacksonville. "We are thrilled to provide this value added benefit to our members in the northeast area of our state. The response and positive feedback has been overwhelming," stated Caite Corripio, Executive Director for the FSSA.
Each session included the following topics: "How Effective is Your Sales Call?" by Travis Lawhorne of Accountable Management; "Revenue Management" by Rick Yonis of Sentry Self Storage; and "Perfecting Your Lien" by Nyle Wells of Storage Protection Auction Services.
What did our attendees think? Written comments included: "The whole seminar was great!"; "I certainly will attend other seminars given by the FSSA"; "Well worth the time"; "Very, very good!".
The FSSA continues the monthly education sessions, and will be in Melbourne on October 9 and Gainesville on November 13. Visit http://www.floridassa.org for the 2010 schedule.
Unheard of in the industry, the FSSA will be hosting an Executive Reteat for our owners/developers of self storage at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort on October 23. This 'think tank' is FREE to our members, and will be one of the most thought provoking, mind expanding events of the year.
2010 Conference is scheduled for May 5-7, 2010 - Disney's Contemporary Resort.
