On October 3, 2009, Yee Haw Adventure Farm kicks off its ninth season, opening its barn doors once again to families, school children and corporate groups across Southwestern Ontario, and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Back for another year are Yee Haw Adventure Farm family favorites, including three times daily pig races, rock climbing, the Haunted Hayride and Boo Barn, Flo Gently's Animal Show and the farm's famous Sugar Shack doling out pumpkin pie, hot chocolate and steaming apple cider for hungry visitors. Also back this year is Yee Haw's famous pumpkin patch and 5 acre corn maze, showcasing a new Fall pattern (created through a collaboration between Yee Haw Adventure Farm and Cambridge's Annual Fall Fair).

"This is the best outdoor family fun you will find, and just 45 minutes west of Toronto. The Walker family have converted their farm into a giant outdoor play land that promised a terrific time for you and your kids and maybe a few other families! Yee Haw Adventure Farm is well worth leaving behind the 416/905, and your nice footwear (this is a real farm) behind to enjoy the autumn season. Dress warmly and be prepared to smile broadly," notes a loyal friend of the farm, Bruce Simpson, CEO of Toronto-based Switchgear.

Yee Haw Adventure Farm's special form of agricultural entertainment has made the farm a rising star within the field of Agri-Marketing, one of the fastest growing tourism market segments in North America. In the spring of 2009, Yee Haw Adventure Farm was named one of Hamilton's 'Hidden Treasures' and identified by the City as one its award-winning destinations.

According to a 2009 study by the Ontario Farm Fresh Marketing Association, on-farm markets such as Yee Haw Adventure Farm bring $420 million dollars into Ontario's economy each year. 36 percent of Ontario On-Farm Marketing includes an Agri-Entertainment component. Another 16 percent of farms surveyed indicate they are actively contemplating adding an entertainment component to their farm business.

Yee Haw Adventure Farm is open to families and friends of the farm every weekend from October 3rd to October 31st from 11 am until 5:30 PM, and to corporate groups and school children through the week.

About Yee Haw Adventure Farm
Established in 2002, Yee Haw Adventure Farm is the passion of Florence and Todd Walker and their family of five children - pioneers in the agri-entertainment industry in Ontario. Located just outside of Cambridge, Ontario in the heart of Southwestern Ontario, Yee Haw Adventure Farm is on the must-do list for Fall weekend escapes and school visits, with gobs of down-home hill-billy fun, and a wide range of attractions for young and old - including silo climbing, corn mazes, pumpkin patch, haunted barn and forest, and daily pig races.

Meet Maw
Howdy I'm Maw, a loving "MAW" to my five youngin's and also the mother of "Farm"ily Fun! After raising up my babies I went looking for a career. And goodness sakes, I found it out behind the barn! In 2002 we swung open our barn doors to the world. We have been having a heapin' helping of fun and learning ever since. My favorite quotes are "Let's make hay while the sun shines" and "Life is simpler when you plow around the stumps"- both of which city folks don't understand. That's precisely why we love having y'all out to learn more and more about life on a farm. Plain and simple it does folks a world of good to get on out in the country with the people you love! So come on down. I'll get the kettle on! "Maw" enjoys the smell of manure on her boots, flosses her tooth every night, and has a paralyzing fear of clowns.

Meet Paw
Meet Paw Flatfoot, proud sire of the Yee Haw hillbilly clan. Paw loves fast cars and faster women - 'specially when Maw's running really, really fast. Paw is the "muscle" behind the wonderful world of Yee Haw Adventure Farm, but don't be fooled- when he gets his creative juices flowing he is unstoppable. His favourite quote is "busier that a hen with two nests" - which is always true for Paw! Paw loves his coffee black in a big cup, a baby in the house and one on the way, tight flood pants an' a corn cob pipe.
