Architects rely on architectmagazine.com for news and product information, and Hanley Wood is committed to keeping our media properties at the forefront of the industry

Hanley Wood, LLC, the leading media and information company serving the housing and construction industries, announces the relaunch of its ARCHITECT brand Web site: http://www.architectmagazine.com.

Architectmagazine.com is the unrivaled source of industry news and information for architects and architectural design specifiers. It provides content from ARCHITECT magazine, the latest industry news, searchable product information, Continuing Education courses as part of Hanley Wood University, design features, and awards programs including the R+D Awards and the P/A Awards, which celebrate architectural design and industry innovations.

The new Web site is redesigned to offer more flexibility, more content, more frequent updates, and more advertising opportunities. Design direction for the new site comes courtesy of Karen Brown and Ron Ryan of Brown + Ryan, the visionary web designers who guided us through this process. Brown + Ryan arrived with spot-on experience, having created sites for top New York design store Moss, leading textile manufacturer Maharam, The Nation magazine, and emerging architecture firm Workshop/APD. We have only just begun to adopt Brown + Ryan's design--there is still fine-tuning to be done and cool new functionality to be added.

In addition to enhanced editorial content, architectmagazine.com provides business information and features for architects and design specifiers looking for industry-leading information on the most relevant topics in today's economy. Annual features such as the Salary Survey, the School Rankings, and the Architect 50 keep professionals current on the latest industry trends.
ArchitectTV's online video platform provides news and information on today's ideas and best business practices in the commercial construction industry, while four editorial blogs offer insights into where the industry is headed.

"Architects rely on architectmagazine.com for news and product information, and Hanley Wood is committed to keeping our media properties at the forefront of the industry" says Peter Goldstone, President of Hanley Wood Business Media.

This relaunch showcases the latest of Hanley Wood's Web sites built in the company's new content management system (CMS). The CMS uses the Tridion platform and gives web editors limitless flexibility to add and update online content quickly. It also allows for new ad units and contextual advertising. The new infrastructure allows Architectmagazine.com to be more efficient in bringing ideas to market going forward and should serve as a catalyst for aggressive audience growth.
