The MindSpa application takes the unique capabilities of the iPhone™ and iPod Touch™ to a new level by simultaneously providing auditory and visual neural brainwave entrainment with biofeedback. The MindSpa iPhone™ application is designed to shift the user into a deep state of relaxation in minutes. To develop the application, Hästens worked closely with the world’s premier behavioral expert and co-founder of Neuro-Linguistic Programming™, (NLP™) Dr. Richard Bandler, and a team that included some of today’s most experienced brainwave experts, such as Dr. Alexander Kaplan, head of the Human Brain Science Department at M.V. How the Hästens MindSpa Application Works
The MindSpa research and development team has created a special visual neural-stimulation program that utilizes the unique capabilities of the iPhone™ and iPod Touch™ to measure slight changes in body movement and biorhythms. In response to these measurements, the program optimizes the visual and auditory patterns being displayed to place the user into a deep, calm state of relaxation and stress relief, in under fifteen minutes.
Our brain operates primarily in four brainwave states. These states range from being wide awake and active, the beta brainwave state; to the calm, focused alpha state; and the creative, deeply meditative theta state; down to low-wave, deep, dreamless, restorative sleep, the delta brainwave state. The MindSpa application uses a proprietary neuro-sensory algorithm technology to activate specific parts of the brain through auditory and visual stimulation, which ultimately shifts the user’s brainwaves into a deep alpha state.
