Access Hotels & Resorts Names Graham Asher Managing Director of Woodcliff Hotel & Spa and Brookwood Inn

Access Hotels & Resorts recently took over management of two Rochester, NY area hotels. The company has named Graham Asher, an industry veteran of four- and five-star hotels as managing director of the two properties. Plans in place to upgrade both hotels.

Rochester, NY (PRWEB) September 23, 2009 -- Access Hotels & Resorts, www.accesshospitality.com, has named hospitality industry leader Graham Asher to manage the two newest hotels in its portfolio: the Woodcliff Hotel & Spa in Fairport, NY and the Brookwood Inn in Pittsford, NY. Access assumed management of the two Rochester-area properties on September 1.
   
Asher, a native of the United Kingdom and a veteran of several top four-and five-star hotels, brings extensive hospitality management experience to the position.
   
He most recently held the title of regional director of operations for American Property Hospitality Corporation in La Jolla, CA where he was responsible for oversight of all newly planned and acquired luxury-tiered hotels.
   
Prior to that position he managed hotels in the Starwood Luxury Hotel Collection, including the historic, Mobil Four-Star US Grant Hotel in San Diego and Mobil Four-Star, AAA Four-Diamond Ballantyne Resort, Golf Club & Spa in Charlotte, N.C. Additional experience includes management positions with the Barnsley Inn & Golf Resort in Adairsville, GA, Fairmont Royal Pavilion and Glitter Bay in Barbados, The Helmsley Organization and The Regent Washington, D.C.

The 234-room Woodcliff Hotel and Spa, http://www.woodcliffhotelspa.com , recently debuted a new health club, new function space, a new pool area and gazebo, new suites and enhancements to its guest rooms, including the addition of plasma TVs and new soft goods. Plans are imminent to add new guest bathrooms, in-room wet bars and other physical enhancements to the property.
   
The 108-room Brookwood Inn, http://www.thebrookwoodinn.com, recently redesigned its guest rooms with new furnishings, draperies and décor, as well as new beds with custom mattresses and luxurious linens.
   
Both hotels are owned by The Widewaters Group, Inc. (www.widewaters.com), a premier real estate development and management firm headquartered in Syracuse, NY.
