Avid hunters and outdoorsmen are notorious for their dislike of wedding jewelry, but, a specialist in alternative metal and non-traditional jewelry, is changing the trend with one-of-a-kind camo rings featuring RealTree AP and Max4 camouflage patterns.

I wanted to offer the ring for true outdoorsmen.

Many a diehard outdoorsman will attest that hunting isn't just a hobby, it's a lifestyle that doesn't require a lot of embellishment, especially "frills" like jewelry and even wedding rings., a specialized retailer of titanium rings and alternative jewelry, is seeking to change popular opinion by introducing a line of unique camo rings that will appeal to any serious outdoor enthusiast.

"These have been my baby for the past year," Kevin Begola, founder of Titanium-Buzz, says of the rings. "We've actually heard stories from the wives of some sportsmen that these guys won't even wear their wedding rings out into the woods... We think this is one ring they'll actually wear."

The camo rings, which are made from durable lightweight titanium, feature AP and Max4 camouflage patterns developed by RealTree, a pioneer in realistic 3D camouflage.

"The camouflage is applied using a very technical process that coats the center of the ring to prevent wear and tear," Begola says. "We also vary the camo on each ring so no two will ever be alike."

The camo centers on the rings are protected by raised titanium sidewalls. "The beveled titanium edges are polished to give the rings more of a 'wedding' style," Begola adds. "It's a way to make them a little more formal and more comfortable."

At first glance, the design of the rings is pretty straightforward, but as with anything camouflage, looks can be deceiving. "A lot of time and thought went into this series of camo rings," says Begola, who spent the better part of the year working with his manufacturer to perfect the look and quality of the rings he offers on his website.

Changing perceptions about jewelry is Begola's passion, which is why he says, "I wanted to offer the ring for true outdoorsmen." Begola adds, "These rings aren't 'accessories,' they're part of the lifestyle these guys lead. They appreciate good quality, comfort, smart design, and a look that isn't afraid to kick a little ass."

In addition to RealTree, Titanium-Buzz has partnered with Mossy Oak Brand Camo and will be releasing a series of rings that feature their camouflage patterns within the next month. And Begola isn't stopping there. "We're doing a lot more development in the jewelry market for hunters," he says. "I am really excited about the direction we're going."
