Before you invest in a real estate investment trust (REIT), real estate mutual fund, or any other real estate investment vehicle, John Cona, Partner of TARP Capital, says "you better quantify the effect of the fees." According to Cona, "TARP Capital has focused on the problems of real estate investing and developed a solution around it."
The newly formed TARP Capital is not new to commercial real estate investment and management. Its two founding Partners have a combined 30 years of experience and have invested and managed over $5 billion. According to the Partners, "the entity may be new, but the investment and operational management behind it are seasoned."
TARP Capital launched its web based platform in early August. Though the platform requires new users to "Create Account" to view the interactive website, it is a simple three step process. According to its Partners, the overall concept is simple, "deliver a quality investment, through a transparent process, at a fair cost."
