Polish Pottery is a particularly elegant form of stoneware
Leavenworth, KS (PRWEB) September 25, 2009
For over ten years, http://www.EuroPottery.com has been the go-to site for Polish Pottery in the United States. Founded by Kiki Nohmer, Euro Pottery originally began as kiosk in a shopping center in 1998. Over time EuroPottery has developed into a destination location and online retail business, catering to both individuals and wholesalers.
Based in Leavenworth, KS, EuroPottery works directly with Poland's finest manufacturers to design patterns ranging from the traditional to sophisticated signature patterns.
"When people see Polish stoneware for the first time, they are always surprised to learn that the patterns are crafted completely by hand," said Nohmer. "They are intricate and vivid and every piece is unique."
According to Nohmer, Polish Pottery can be used as both a decorative device and a functional one, unlike the equally popular Spanish and Italian plates that are typically used as décor only.
For 2009, Euro Pottery has announced a new line from the wildly popular company, Cermika Artystyczna. "This is a brand new line for us and we're excited to be carrying their products," said Nohmer.
Along with the new product line, Euro Pottery continues to unveil new designs throughout the year. Another new feature that they've also announced is their new blog, http://www.PolishPotteryChatter.com, which also launched recently.
With an extensive knowledge of Polish Pottery, Nohmer will write about the pottery on the blog and relate back to its rich history and many uses. "People love to talk about their Polish Pottery. This site will provide a venue to share and learn about manufactures, new trends, recipes, and even where to shop and stay in Poland."
"Polish Pottery is a particularly elegant form of stoneware," she said. "Some collect it for its beauty, others for its usability. Whatever the reason, everyone should own at least some Polish Pottery. EuroPottery.com is excited to be able to offer such a large variety of pieces, patterns and manufacturers all in one place.
