With our label, our goal is to redefine what art is through urban culture, so we'll be creating fresh urban apparel designs

As a native of Brooklyn, Nina Santamaria, founder of http://www.AcesApparel.net, has always had a passion for urban fashion, but found herself out of her element when she moved to South Carolina.
"I live on the border of South Carolina a few miles south of Charlotte, and when I moved here I immediately noticed that there were none of the thrifty vintage clothing boutiques like there were in New York City," said Santamaria. "I wanted to bring some New York flavor down to Charlotte, and that's where I got the idea for a hip-hop clothing boutique," she added.
Santamaria's online clothing boutique offers a wide range of men's and women's clothing, as well as footwear and accessories from premium brand name labels and underground labels. In addition, she plans to expand her website in the near future.
"Right now we don't have children's clothing on the website, but soon I'll be adding children's sneakers, jeans and more," said Santamaria. "We've also received a lot of requests for plus size apparel, so we'll be adding that too."
In addition to offering apparel and accessories from other labels, Santamaria plans to put the profits from her clothing boutique towards launching her own label.
"Coney Island Clothing Cartel is my label, and it's just starting to get off the ground. We have a lot of our designs up on our website, and we'll be doing silk screened t-shirts and embroidered jeans to start off," said Santamaria.
"The first generation of shirts will be limited edition, handmade and each one original, as the artist can't duplicate a print by hand. This apparel is truly extraordinary, and it's a subtle reminder of how urban art began reminiscent of grassroots designers like Miskeen, one of our biggest inspirations," Santamaria added.
In order to discuss her underground clothing label, the latest hip-hop fashion trends and what's hot and new for the season, Santamaria created a new blog at http://www.HipHopClothingGuru.com.
"With our label, our goal is to redefine what art is through urban culture, so we'll be creating fresh urban apparel designs," said Santamaria. "On the blog I plan to talk about urban clothing designs, how designers get their inspiration and how streetwear can be a form of art."
Santamaria strives to provide value, quality and style with all her apparel and accessories. With her promise of personalized customer service, AcesApparel.net the ideal place to shop for the latest hip-hop fashions.
