Schneider joined Hanley Wood in 2007 as senior editor for eco-structure and metalmag magazines. "Jim is regarded as a leading expert on the construction industry and the metal construction market as well as an accomplished editorial manager," says Russell Ellis, Publisher of metalmag.

Schneider's new position as Editor is a welcome addition to the metalmag media family. Schneider began his publishing career as Managing Editor of T.H.E Journal in 1998. In 2004, he was Executive Editor of Ascent, a publication for the precast concrete industry.
