The Drucker Institute's "Drucker Apps" Offers Key Insights on Effective Management and Ethical Leadership a Year After the Collapse of Lehman Brothers--Applicable Whether You Work on Wall Street or Main Street

The Drucker Institute at Claremont Graduate University today released its latest issue of Drucker Apps, a downloadable collection of useful insights on work and life from the world's foremost expert on organizations and effectiveness, Peter F. Drucker.

Available twice a month, Drucker Apps ties the timeless wisdom of one of the great thinkers and writers of the 20th century to the hottest issues of today, all delivered by the latest in 21st-century technology.

This installment of Drucker Apps springs off of the anniversary of the collapse of Lehman Brothers--a firm that, like so many on Wall Street, forgot that fat profits mean nothing if the underlying business can't be sustained. As Drucker has written: "The most critical management job is to balance short term and long term. In the long term, today's one-sided emphasis is deleterious and dangerous."
