Velma Flies Anderson Scholarship
Mrs. Anderson, a 1941 graduate of the Missouri Methodist Hospital School of Nursing, established the Velma Flies Anderson Scholarship. In awarding the scholarship, emphasis is placed on academic and clinical excellence achievements of a senior level student in an accredited RN program.

Mary Alice Hartigan Scholarship
Created in 1999 to honor the late Mary Alice Hartigan for her years of dedication to the profession of nursing and devotion to the field of surgical services, the Mary Alice Hartigan Scholarship for Nursing provides financial support to individuals for health care education in the field of nursing and/or surgical services, with an emphasis on surgical nursing.

Hillyard Technical Center Practical Nursing Program
Hillyard Technical Center has established a scholarship through Heartland Foundation to benefit students enrolled in their practical nursing program.

Doris R. Hines Ph.D., R.N., CETN Nursing Scholarship
The Doris R. Hines Ph.D., R.N., CETN Nursing Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to Heartland Health nurses pursuing a degree beyond the Bachelor’s level.

Jerry Maki Scholarship
The Jerry Maki Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance for those pursuing educational opportunities toward a career in social work or nursing, with a preference for candidates leaning toward end-of-life care.

The Patrick L. Newman Mic-O-Say Scholarship provides educational assistance to members of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say.

Mary Ann Reinert Scholarship
The Mary Ann Reinert Scholarship provides financial support to individuals for health care education and training. Emphasis is placed on the field of surgical nursing and/or surgical services. Primary attention is focused on persons who are pursuing educational opportunities that will prepare them for work in surgical nursing or further the skills of persons already working in the surgical department of Heartland Health.

Voiture 130 of the 40 & 8 and Heartland Foundation created a scholarship program as a tribute to Bill Russell and the late Mary Russell to provide financial assistance for those pursuing educational opportunities toward a career in nursing or a health care field.
