As Autumn Begins, the Nation's Largest Tax Law Firm is Increasing Community Outreach Efforts
To show their continued support of the Greater Sacramento community, employees of Roni Deutch, A Professional Tax Corporation - along with friends and family members - spent the day volunteering at The Great American River Clean Up.
North Highlands, CA (PRWEB) September 29, 2009 -- Building on the law firm's commitment to community service, Roni Deutch, A Professional Tax Corporation took part in The Great American River Clean Up this month. Several employees, along with family and friends, spent their Saturday beautifying the American River in Sacramento County, CA.
"The Great American River Clean Up was a fantastic event," explains Nicole Elton, Creative Marketing Writer for the law firm. "Our group consisted of several employees and their families who were all excited to be giving back to the community. I was pretty amazed at the number of children who came to the event. It is great to see the value of community service being instilled at such young ages. After only a few hours of work, the river and surrounding trails were absolutely spotless. I feel grateful that our law firm was able to participate, and we will definitely be back next year."
"The Community Action Committee was created to give my employees more opportunities to get involved with the community," notes The Tax Lady Roni Deutch. "Already this year they have volunteered for the Sacramento Children's Home, provided meals at the Martin Luther King Village, and volunteered at the SPCA Doggy Dash. They truly are committed to making a difference in our local community, and I am proud of all that they have accomplished so far."
On the morning of Saturday, September 19th, employees of the law firm and their family members spent the day with other volunteers along the American River. Their team worked on a section of the river located near Watt Ave and Highway 50.
"The committee chose to participate in the Great American River Clean Up because it was a fun way to get involved in the community," continues Elton, "and it allowed our volunteers to impact an entirely new segment of the community. The committee was excited to be involved in this particular event, and we are already working on our next outreach project."
