We value our partnership with this fine organization and look forward to future opportunities where we can continue to give back and help those who need it most.

A local Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Fort Lauderdale, FL, partnered with Camillus House, a nonprofit organization that serves the poor and homeless, to refurnish 47 apartments in south Florida. With the allocated budget from Camillus House and Ashley Furniture HomeStore's donation to cover the difference, each apartment received new furniture to help residents in need.
"We have partnered with Camillus House for over 10 years and, during this time, have witnessed the tremendous, positive impact this relationship has had on the community and the homeless residents that look to Camillus House for assistance. We, as a company, have a deep commitment to our community and strive to maintain our involvement and support at the highest level possible," said the owner of the Fort Lauderdale, FL, Ashley Furniture HomeStore, Keith Koenig. "We value our partnership with this fine organization and look forward to future opportunities where we can continue to give back and help those who need it most."
Each apartment received an Ashley sofa, three tables and a pair of lamps for the living room. The dining room was furnished with an Ashley table and four chairs, while the bedroom was supplied with an Ashley dresser and nightstand.
"Keith Koenig and his Ashley Furniture HomeStore first became involved with Camillus House during its capital campaign to construct the Somerville Residences more than a decade ago," said Dr. Paul R. Ahr, President and CEO of Camillus House. "Ashley Furniture HomeStore took on the task of furnishing all 47 units in this permanent housing facility for formerly homeless families. With Keith's leadership, other furniture retailers joined in, but Ashley Furniture HomeStore provided the vast majority of the furniture involved. Keith and his Ashley Furniture HomeStore have continued to help Camillus with donations of furniture as well as supporting our current capital campaign to end chronic homeless in Miami."
