Phoenix Massage Envy, a co-op of 26 professional massage clinics, is pleased to have raised and donated $3,402 to Phoenix Children's Hospital through a one-day event in which 15-minute chair massages were exchanged for donations. The Phoenix Massage Envy Co-op also donated $1.00 for each one-year membership that was purchased during the month of July 2009. The money was raised as part of the KMLE 107.9 "Commitment to Kids" Campaign.
"It is our pleasure to raise and donate money to Phoenix Children's Hospital" said Stephen Cook, Regional Developer for Arizona and Las Vegas. "We are proud to provide additional funds to help give hope, healing, and the best health care for children and families in the Valley."
Phoenix Massage Envy is committed to community reinvestment. The local group of franchisees, in conjunction with over 590 Massage Envy locations nationwide, participates in Massage for the Cure, an annual event that donated more than $800,000 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure over the past five years. This year's event was held on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 and raised over $466,000 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure nationwide.
