Halogen's team has been very responsive and have given us confidence that they are a true partner in our success
(PRWEB) January 28, 2009
Ottawa, Canada Halogen Software Inc., a leading provider of on-line talent management software closed its 2008 fiscal fourth quarter with significant momentum. The company achieved its 25th consecutive quarter of year-over-year revenue growth, and recorded more than 40 percent revenue growth over 2007. While many of the company’s industry peers are downsizing, Halogen continues to grow and invest in its talent and new product innovation. The organization’s year-over-year revenue growth was driven in part by all time high customer renewal rates of over 100 percent, on a dollar renewal basis, and its continued success in industry specific talent management solutions.
New customers added during the company’s record quarter include Brookfield Residential Property Services, Hamilton Health Care System, International Turnkey Systems Group, Medical College of Wisconsin, Minnesota Judicial Branch, MTS Allstream, Pharmascience, Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, Rush University Medical Center, SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts, Smithsonian Institution, The Word & Brown, Toyota Boshoku America and Universal American Corp.
Despite challenging economic conditions, the company has achieved significant growth, and maintains an internal focus on talent development. This focus was recently recognized when Halogen was honored as an employer of choice, and named one of the Top 50 Best Small and Medium Employers in Canada. Halogen’s investment in developing its employees has also helped the company continue to deliver an excellent customer experience.
“Halogen’s team has been very responsive and have given us confidence that they are a true partner in our success,” said Sandra Kosor, Corporate Director of Learning & Development with SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts. “HR implementations are challenging, and for us even more so when the initiative has impacts on a national level, but from the beginning Halogen has put us at ease and addressed all our questions and concerns promptly. They consistently demonstrate that they are well-prepared and will do what needs to be done to ensure we reach our goals.”
In addition to its full suite of talent management applications, Halogen is the only vendor to deliver vertical specific solutions to meet the unique needs and challenges healthcare, professional services and financial services organizations. This vertical approach to the market has been broadly embraced. In the fourth quarter of 2008, vertical sales continued to be part of Halogen’s winning strategy, comprising over 60 percent of total sales.
“Halogen has excelled at identifying and addressing the specific needs of our industry with its healthcare specific solution. During the process of evaluating other potential vendors, we found that there was a general lack of functionality that met the needs of our healthcare organization,” said Jason Hopkins, Director of Human Resources of Hamilton Health Care System.
