"Lipstick & Love" Explores the Quest for Love Across Time - as a Memoir

The author, Theresa Pugh, draws upon her own past-life memories to pen a spiritual memoir that combines the search for romantic love with a quest for spiritual integration. From her previous lifetime as an aspiring twenty-something nightclub singer during the prohibition era in San Francisco, to her existence as an ancient Egyptian seer, the author thematically links past-lives with the colour spectrum of the chakras in her exploration of the Divine Feminine. Vignettes of her past lifetimes include scenes from the promiscuous revelry of the French court, gothic mansions, and even murder.

Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) October 22, 2009 -- At first glance "Lipstick & Love" may sound like a chick-lit novel but quickly crosses genres into the far-flung reaches of a very different memoir, that of the soul.

While authors such as Dr. Brian Weiss have popularized the concept of soul recognition from one life to another, few writers have been brave enough to claim past-life memories as autobiography. First-time author and past-life therapist, Theresa Pugh, pushes the envelope as she draws upon her own past-life memories to pen a spiritual memoir that combines the search for romantic love with a quest for spiritual integration.

The six short stories are woven together through narrative at the end of each chapter to make a tiny but perfectly formed exploration of the quest for romantic love throughout time. While the author weaves in personal comments from her present life, it is this commentary and her unusual perspective on the chakras, which makes the book come to life.

From her previous lifetime as an aspiring twenty-something nightclub singer during the prohibition era in San Francisco, to her existence as an ancient Egyptian seer, the author thematically links past-lives with the colour spectrum of the chakras in her exploration of the Divine Feminine. For those who have ever wondered if the love of your life lives in another time or asks the question: is there such a thing as eternal love? "Lipstick & Love" is your book.

"Lipstick & Love: Six soul memoirs from a modern day mystic", published by Arias Press, is available through Amazon.com at $13.95 and Amazon.co.uk at £9.95.
