Ormond Beach, FL (PRWEB) October 12, 2009
QFX Software Corporation announced today the release of KeyScrambler 2.6.0, an upgrade with major improvements in KeyScrambler's appearance and range.
A new logo, new interface and new tray icon give the popular anti-keylogging program more visual appeal. The newly added support in the paid editions for ideographic languages--Japanese, Chinese and Korean--puts KeyScrambler in a category of its own: the only keystroke encryption program in the world that protects Asian language inputs against keyloggers. All three upgraded KeyScramblers, Personal, Professional and Premium, are immediately available at the company's website: http://www.qfxsoftware.com.
According to a security report published by Symantec in April this year, keyloggers posed the third most prevalent threat to confidential information in 2008, with 75 percent of malicious code infections having the keylogging capability.
"Keylogging is a world-wide problem, and there are over 450 million Chinese, Japanese and Korean internet users today. We're excited that we can now offer these users the same proven protection against keylogging that our customers from other parts of the world have been enjoying," says Qian Z. Wang, CEO of QFX Software. "Due to the complexity of their input systems, the Asian languages presented unique challenges for keystroke encryption. We came up with a number of innovative solutions for these problems and the result is a significant advancement to the state of the art of keystroke encryption technology."
KeyScrambler encrypts users' keystrokes deep in the kernel and decrypts them at the destination application, giving keyloggers only random keys - "scrambled" and indecipherable - to record. KeyScrambler defeats known and unknown keyloggers and works even on security compromised computers.
A small download of 1.2 MB, KeyScrambler takes only a few minutes to install and requires no effort from users. The unobtrusive interface lets users see encryption live and gives them peace of mind.
About the Three KeyScrambler Editions:
KeyScrambler Personal, a browser add-on, encrypts users' keystrokes in Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Flock. It protects users' credentials on all websites, online banking logins, webmail, Java, Flash, Browser Dialogs, browser master passwords, and much more. KeyScrambler Personal has been named by PC World as one of the "15 Great, Free Privacy Downloads" and remains absolutely free for all users.
The paid editions, KeyScrambler Professional and KeyScrambler Premium, protect user inputs in many more browsers and applications. KeyScrambler Premium offers the most comprehensive protection and is particularly useful in the workplace. By encrypting users' login credentials in Windows workstation, Active Directory Domain, and Windows Vista's User Account Control prompts (UAC), KeyScrambler Premium not only helps prevent cyber criminals from gaining access to an enterprise's critical systems but also reduces risks that a single breached computer will allow an intruder to compromise other workstations and the company network.
