Since the book's publication in 2007, many have eagerly anticipated its availability within the small Caribbean nation where the story was born. And although Koerner's story is officially deemed fiction, it is actually a memoir based on her own experiences in the 70's and 80's, over a decade before the advent of modern tourism, making the book unique.
