The Financial Planning Association of Georgia (http://www.fpaga.org) is pleased to announce our lineup of Consumer Events & Seminars during National Financial Planning Week October 5th through October 11th.

Certified Financial Planners™ (CFP®) will be on hand at the following locations in a volunteer effort to help educate the public about financial planning:

  •     October 5th 5:30pm - 7:00pm (Monday)

Where: University of Georgia Campus (Athens)
What: The Women's Business Model - Panel Discussion, reception follows
Presented by the FPA of GA along with GA Consortium, UGA Peer Financial Counseling, FPA-UGA student chapter

  •     October 5th (Monday)

Where: Crews Middle School (Gwinnett)
What: Money Matters - Financial Literacy Program
Presented by the FPA of GA Members- Planner in the Classroom Program

  •     October 6th (Tuesday)

Where: Pope High School (Marietta) & Meadow Creek High School (Gwinnett)
What: Money Matters - Financial Literacy Program
Presented by the FPA of GA Members- Planner in the Classroom Program

  •     October 6th, 6:00 - 7:00pm (Tuesday)

Where: Columbus Public Library, 3000 Macon Road
What: FPA Retirement Planning Workshop
Presented by the FPA of GA Members

  •     October 7th (Wednesday)

Where: Woodville-Tompkins Technical & Career Institute (Savannah) & Marietta High School
What: Money Matters - Financial Literacy Program
Presented by the FPA of GA Members- Planner in the Classroom Program

  •     October 7th & 8th from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Wednesday and Thursday)

Where: Grady High School
What: NEFE (National Endowment for Financial Education) High School Financial Planning Program
Presented by FPA members in conjunction with Junior Achievement of Georgia, Inc.

  •     October 8th 7:00pm (Thursday)

Where: Georgia Tech Campus (Atlanta)
What: Money Matters - Financial Literacy Program
Presented by the FPA of GA Members along with GA Consortium, GA Tech Honors, GA Tech Cashflow Club and GA Tech Leadership Group

  •     October 8th 10:45 to 11:45(Thursday) (Kick off of weekly series), lunch provided

What: Real World Retirement Planning for Pre-Retirees and Retirees
Presented by FPA members along with the GA Consortium for Personal Financial Literacy
