ISM-Central Ohio's Annual Scholarship Benefit is scheduled for Friday, November 13, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Columbus. The casino-themed event, which kicks off at 6:30 pm, will feature Mr. Michael Sutherland singing 'Sinatra and Friends'. Guests will enjoy cocktails, appetizers, and dancing, gaming and fabulous prizes.
Proceeds from the event are used to replenish funds for scholarships given to ISM-Central Ohio members and their families as they pursue college degrees, professional development and certifications, such as Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) and Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM). The CPSM is a new designation recognized internationally that reflects the expanded education, skills and experience needed to be a successful supply management professional.
"We are thrilled to be hosting such a special evening of Vegas-style entertainment to support the R.J. Flanagan Education Fund," said Christine Couts, President, ISM-Central Ohio.
