CarrierWeb® today announced the addition of new features to LogsManager™, an electronic on-board recording (EOBR) system for electronic logs that is compliant with the most current DOT FMCSA Hours-of-Service regulations.

CarrierWeb®, one of the leading mobile communication and information management service providers, today announced the addition of new features to LogsManager™, CarrierWeb's electronic on-board recording (EOBR) system for electronic logs that is compliant with the most current DOT FMCSA Hours-of-Service regulations (49 CFR Part 395).

With LogsManager, dispatchers and drivers are always aware of the driver's status and availability. All driver duty status changes are entered electronically on the CarrierMate driver display. Drivers can review their status on their in-cab display and dispatchers can monitor driver availability via the CarrierWeb customer web site. When you purchase the CarrierMate in-cab mobile communications system, you have the ability to add LogsManager functionality without an additional hardware purchase. Now you can save your dispatchers and drivers time which translates into more productivity for your fleet.

  •     Dispatchers have better information to assign drivers, trucks, trailers and loads.
  •     Drivers keep more accurate records and spend less time entering data into log books.
  •     Drivers get audible and text alerts to let them know their HOS status.
  •     Compliance managers have immediate access to all information necessary to meet FMCSA regulations.
  •     Drivers have current 24-hour log details and 7 or 8 day history needed for law enforcement compliance.
  •     Drivers report on duty, off duty, sleeper berth and driving status very simply with the push of a button and the system automatically calculates their hours of service.

"Our customers are the source of our product development," said John Marous, president and CEO of CarrierWeb. "We have been providing our customers with HOS data management services for years but now our customers wanted us to take it to the next level so they could go paperless."

LogsManager is the latest feature added to CarrierWeb's patented ALWAYS-ON mobile communications system, CarrierMate. This powerful technology combination enables trucking companies to integrate their back office operations with best-of-class routing and driver directions.
