Hastings Hires Manager of Product Design and Analysis
Hastings Manufacturing Company, LLC, a nearly 100-year-old American manufacturer of piston rings, announced the hiring of Randy Lunsford, manager of product design and analysis.
Hastings, MI (PRWEB) October 4, 2009 -- Hastings Manufacturing Company, LLC, a nearly 100-year-old American manufacturer of piston rings, announced the hiring of Randy Lunsford, manager of product design and analysis.
"It gives me great pleasure to announce that Randy Lunsford is joining the Hastings' engineering department as our product design and analysis manager," said Ira Rosenberg, director of engineering. "In this role, Randy will be responsible for managing original equipment and aftermarket product design and numerical simulation projects."
Randy joins Hastings from Mahle Engine Components where he held the position of manager--numerical simulation for piston rings as well as piston products. He has extensive experience in the areas of process engineering, product design, applications engineering, and numerical simulation. Randy started his career with Kaydon Corporation, followed by Muskegon Piston Ring Co., now Goetze Corporation of America, owned by Federal-Mogul, and then worked for Sealed Power Corporation, which was subsequently purchased by Dana Corporation (Perfect Circle®) and more recently Mahle. Randy's credentials include a MA from the University of Michigan. Randy is also a former chairman of the SAE Piston and Rings Standards Committee.
Hastings Manufacturing Company, LLC designs and manufactures piston rings for the worldwide engine manufacturing and remanufacturing industries.
