New Site, http://www.get-rated.com, Allows Users to Rate Other Users

While our other products leverage our ability to create world-class graphics, Get Rated will rely on user-generated content

Make The Web Better, LLC today announced the launch of Get Rated, located at http://www.get-rated.com. This new site allows users to rate other users on a scale of 1 to 10, based on photos and other information provided by the person getting rated. When a user uploads a photo, he or she is also asked to provide certain basic information, so that other users can get to know them better. In addition, uploading users can share a bit about themselves in an optional “About Me” section, as well as optional “Turn Ons” and “Turn Offs” sections. By setting up a free account, uploading users can sign in at any point from their computer to check their average ratings. Importantly, uploading a photo is purely optional, and users can also use the site to simply rate other users. Photos can be sorted by gender and age.

The launch of Get Rated follows a number of successful product releases by Make The Web Better, which develops free products that are monetized through the company’s Fast Browser Search toolbar and related site, located at http://www.fastbrowsersearch.com. These products include MyWebTattoo, the Tattoodle apps on Facebook and MySpace, and Tattoons (a component of the Facebook App). Each is characterized by an easy-to-use, clean, and intuitive user interface.

“While our other products leverage our ability to create world-class graphics, Get Rated will rely on user-generated content,” said Mike Goldberg, head of product development for Make The Web Better. “However, this new site shares the same focus on visual appeal and, uniquely, will capitalize on the universal desire to see and be seen. We are very optimistic that the site will become popular among users from a wide range of age groups and nationalities.”
