Web Fiction is Not Just for Amateurs

Writers of fiction, prose, poetry, articles, ads or other media have always been severely limited from attaining a professional status. In other words; they have trouble getting paid. Facebook, twitter, and countless websites available to communicate ideas help but they usually lack many of the resources that can prove useful to young writers. Getting free placement on the top searches is another tool that can help writers get noticed but material on the internet seldom is taken seriously. A Christian website is now offering help for aspiring writers by starting a community fueled by IT knowhow that knows how to get attention. The concept is working to develop a strong web presence by using all the available resources for web design and promotional avenues by teaming with other writers in a relaxed internet environment.

Built on a website called Web Ev which has gathered many top links and JavaScript applications for the purpose of Web Evangelism, this website teaches techniques to put written material on the internet. Further programming on the main site (RD fiction.html or Robert Diffin fiction) is being done now. The purpose of this developement is to allow IT advocates and web writers alike to submit their ideas. Contributions will be used to build an open source work environment, using the cover page as a vehicle.

Companies like Microsoft, GospelCom, Google, Angelfire and Yahoo figure strongly into the planned site.Much of the programming for the site is being done by using the simple task of copying and pasting text from many sources to simplify gathering and testing contributions.Use of the copyright mark is to be strongly encouraged to protect the rights of contributors to make a claim to work submitted. JavaScript will be used to enhance the appearance ot text pages and functionality. Links to exhaustive software download sources are provided for inexperienced web users. Microsoft is an encouraged source for serious projects that envolved programming. Also research sources will be provided to gather relevant information for all submitters and a popular translater is available for non English users.

For those who would like to have brief messages of faith available for copying; there is an archive provided by Web Ev with several inspired writings as well as a special page of sermon sources offered for ministers and lay ministers.

URL addresses and links will be utilized to reference the locations of some works that are deemed of interest although not suitable for included text or scripts. It is the stated intent of Web Ev that contributors will be free to use the site without having to register initially. BLOGs will be accepted for links that can be posted to RD Fiction. Millions of people are discovering what the internet can do to open a whole new world without boundaries. This project is just one more attempt to open up the world a little more without worrying about the financial aspect of publishing.
