LEVEL Studios (http://level-studios.com), an independent digital agency, announced that Tom Adamski, President | CEO of LEVEL, was named a winner of the "40 Under 40" award by the Pacific Coast Business Times. This section recognizes a diverse group of leaders who innovate in their respective fields to deliver tangible business results while impacting San Luis Obispo, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.

Launched in 2000, the 40 Under 40 is an annual compilation of up-and-coming business leaders. The publication showcases the winners' professional accomplishments and community involvement as recognized by their colleagues. To be considered a candidate for the distinction, the nominee must be under 40 years of age and an individual can only be honored once. Chosen by the Pacific Coast Business Times staff and correspondents, the 40 Under 40 has named 360 business leaders to date. This year's recipients will be honored at a banquet on Monday, October 19 at the Topa Tower Club in Oxnard, California.

"Tom was selected as a 40 Under 40 member because he continually provides the business leadership necessary for LEVEL to remain relevant during changing market conditions," commented Andy DeNecochea, VP | Finance and Administration for LEVEL. "His approach has resulted the financial stability and meteoric growth of our company, which has required us to boost our headcount in order to fulfill increasing work requests even in these challenging economic times."

Under Tom's guidance, the company has experienced over a 30% year-over-year increase in revenue for the past 5 years. Last year, under his direction and inspirational vision, the company rebranded as LEVEL Studios. This effort shifted the perception of the company from being seen primarily as a web shop and now more accurately conveys LEVEL as a top tier digital agency. The new name, aesthetic, messaging and service offerings garnered immediate positive reactions from both clients and employees. The rebrand has also positively impacted the company's financial bottom line while driving a 50% overall increase in revenue when compared to last year.

Additionally, LEVEL contributes to the livelihoods of close to 180 individuals across 3 California-based locations. The agency has hired 30 employees in 2009 and is still in growth mode, anticipating to hire another 30 people in the near future. Whether providing jobs to those within the community or pulling revenue into San Luis Obispo from global clients, Tom's leadership has been vital to the success of LEVEL.

"It is an honor to be included in the Pacific Coast Business Times' 40 Under 40," stated Tom Adamski. "This year marks an unprecedented period of growth for LEVEL, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of our agency. It is my hope that this recognition will build awareness surrounding LEVEL and our desire to have a positive socioeconomic impact while serving some of the world's top brands."
