Upper Marlboro, MD (PRWEB) October 6, 2009
Beechtree, the most prestigious community of luxury homes in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, is home to Lake Presidential, a championship golf course recently named one of the "Top 10 New Courses In The U.S." by Golf Magazine.
For Lisa Arrington and her family, the appeal of Lake Presidential goes beyond having one of the best golf courses in the country right in their own neighborhood. According to Lisa, Lake Presidential's clubhouse and other amenities are "like having a community inside a community."
One of over 400 families now living at Beechtree, the Arringtons purchased a single family home from Mid-Atlantic Builders and have been living at Beechtree for two years now. While Lisa admits that they don't always play as much golf as they'd like, they do take advantage of the clubhouse.
"Sometimes we'll just head over to the clubhouse and order some wings while we watch a football game at the bar," said Lisa. "Or if we have friends over, we'll take them out to dinner at the clubhouse restaurant. We've done the Sunday Brunch on Mother's Day and even rented the clubhouse for a friend's Retirement Party."
Enjoying access to Lake Presidential's Clubhouse, without having to pay membership fees, is one of the many privileges of living at Beechtree. The 11,000 square foot facility overlooks Beechtree's 30-acre lake and features a restaurant with full bar, conference room, closed-door dining room, golf pro shop, and a full-time Event Coordinator.
When asked what else attracted the Arrington's to Beechtree, Lisa's response was short and sweet. "The location," she said without hesitation. "Beechtree is close to everything. It's right off Route 301. Route 4 is close by, and it's easy to get to Route 50 and I-495."
To put its location into perspective for commuters, Beechtree is about 10 minutes from the Beltway and 30 minutes from downtown Washington. Its Upper Marlboro location is certainly convenient, but what really puts Beechtree in a class by itself is its resort-like setting.
Just inside Beechtree's substantial stone entrance monument are nearly 1,200 acres, over 600 of which are dedicated to the golf course and clubhouse, a 30-acre stream valley lake, miles of trails, open space, parkland, and acres of mature trees. Situated amid Beechtree's rolling landscape, up and down winding roads, and overlooking the golf course and lake, are Beechtree's homesites where four of Prince George's County's leading builders are currently building.
Beechtree is proud to offer a wide range of home designs by Haverford Homes, Ryan Homes, Mid-Atlantic Builders and Richmond American Homes.
Single Family Homes are now selling from the upper $300's. Grand Townhomes are now selling from the low $300's. 4 decorated models are now open and 2 additional models are opening soon.
