Dr. Rutherford joins Gulf View Walk In Clinic with Dr. Dhaliwal in Spring Hill office effective 10.5.2009
Spring Hill, FL (PRWEB) October 6, 2009 -- Andrew Rutherford, MD joins Gulf View Walk In Clinic with Dr. Dhaliwal effective 10.5.2009 starting at 11123 County Line Road, Spring Hill in Hernando County Florida. Dr. Rutherford graduated from USF College of Medicine in 2005 and completed his Internal Medicine Residency Program from the same medical college in 2008. During Residency training he worked part time in Walk In clinics or otherwise performed physical exams on Disability claimants. He is Internal Medicine Board Eligible and plans to take his boards next year.
After finishing his Residency, Dr. Rutherford joined Tampa General Hospital as hospitalist for six months and then Medical Director of Tampa Correctional Facility for six months. He had been quite active in managing H1N1 Swine Flu outbreaks with local Health Department and Sheriff's office. He is well trained in minor trauma such as Suturing, Incision & Drainage of abscesses as well as removing lumps and bumps under local anesthesia.
Dr Rutherford is member of American College of Physicians and American Medical Association as also Florida Medical Association.
Dr. Rutherford plans to establish as outpatient clinician and subsequently manage inpatient care in Regional Medical Center, Bayonet Point and Spring Hill Regional Hospital. He welcomes all walk in patients as well as primary care.
Dr. Rutherford is married and has six year old son. Along with clinical medical practice he wants to enjoy his family life, living in Wesley Chapel. He will be in Spring Hill office Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and in New Port Richey office on
alternate Saturdays 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Dr. Dhaliwal will continue to practice at his main office, 6329 State Road 54, New Port Richey. The office hours are Monday through Wednesday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Dr. Dhaliwal will be alternating Saturdays at 54 office with Dr. Rutherford.
