The New York Institute of Finance has partnered with Eckerd College, the only private national liberal arts college in Florida, to create a program through which NYIF-branded courses will be offered as part of Eckerd College's continuing education offerings.

This partnership will help to extend NYIF's brand for the first time to the southern portion of the United States. Major corporations and organizations in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina can send staff interested in continuing their financial education to the Eckerd College campus, where curriculum offerings will include NYIF's instructor-led, virtual and elearning courses. Course topics will include everything from accounting to derivatives to portfolio management to trading and more. In addition, NYIF's signature special programs, including Core Skills Analyst and Wealth Management, will be available. A full listing of courses will be available at the NYIF/Eckerd website

Instructors will be comprised of NYIF and Eckerd College faculty; guest speakers, including Ralph Acampora, NYIF's Director of Technical Studies; and select authors from Pearson and Wharton School Publishing.

"This agreement signals the beginning of a new business model for NYIF, and Eckerd College is a perfect fit for the kickoff of this important new program," said Patricia Sparacio, Managing Director, NYIF. "This is a huge opportunity for us, and we are looking for additional opportunities to work with educational institutions to expand NYIF curriculum in the United States and beyond."

"Eckerd College is pleased to join with the New York Institute of Finance to bring state-of-the-art financial education courses and programs to Florida and the Tampa Bay area business community," said Donald R. Eastman, President of Eckerd College. "The NYIF courses complement offerings in our Leadership Development Institute and will bring executives from NYIF's global clientele to our campus and community."
