We are pleased to be able to say that we are profitable for the 11th straight year
Mountain View, Calif. (PRWEB) October 6, 2009
InfoExpress, a leading network security solutions provider, today announced that it has achieved its 11th consecutive year of profitability. At a time when many NAC vendors are exiting the market or reinventing themselves, InfoExpress continues to expand its Network Access Control business globally.
InfoExpress was one of the first companies to develop a NAC product. Unlike other companies that rushed in to jump on the NAC bandwagon, InfoExpress grew its business organically to create a comprehensive NAC solution. The InfoExpress team focused on providing customers with NAC that is easy to deploy, offers a deep level of protection and can be integrated into the network through infrastructure providers.
"We are pleased to be able to say that we are profitable for the 11th straight year," said Stacey Lum, CEO of InfoExpress. "In a very difficult market, we continued to focus on delivering the best product for our customers. This steady, customer-centric approach is the reason why customers rely on us for long-term solutions and companies like Alcatel-Lucent partner with us."
Over the past year, InfoExpress expanded its customer base, added a new service and increased the number of partners selling its CyberGatekeeper NAC solution. Specific milestones include:
- Increased Customer Base: InfoExpress expanded the number of customers using CyberGatekeeper, seeing healthy growth in education and government verticals. Global sales also increased in Asia and Europe.
- Expanded its Relationship with Alcatel-Lucent: Alcatel-Lucent integrated CyberGatekeeper into its new line of OmniSwitch family of LAN switches. Through the integration, the network edge switch ensures endpoints connecting to the enterprise network are checked for health and policy compliance.
- Introduced New Managed Service: The InfoExpress CARE managed service team deploys and remotely manages customers' CyberGatekeeper implementation ensuring the solution is optimized.
InfoExpress network security solutions protect enterprise networks and the endpoints connecting to them. The company has provided network access control solutions since 2000. At the core of InfoExpress solution is the award winning Dynamic NAC Software Suite, which requires no network changes to deploy, ensures endpoints are safe and compliant with security policies by performing real-time audits and quarantining of all network-attached endpoints. InfoExpress products have received numerous awards for innovation. The privately held company is headquartered in Mountain View, California. http://www.infoexpress.com/
