The timely seminar, which was held as millions of dollars are being procured through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), focused on how federal government contractors can be better prepared for large new business growth and ensure they are in compliance with ever-changing federal regulations.
The seminar, titled "What's in Your Government Contractor's Tool Kit," took place at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md. and featured presentations from Tom Dudenhoefer, vice president, Major Account Sales, Payroll Network; Mitchell Weintraub, partner, Cordia Partners; Kathy Albarado, president & CEO, Helios HR; and Thomas Ricks, senior regional sales manager, Taleo Corporation.
Participants learned how to quickly and effectively ramp up accounting, payroll and HR infrastructure after contract wins.

In addition, the presentation focused on a discussion of DCAA, OFCCP and DOL regulation thresholds and how to ensure a company is in compliance as well as specific tools for ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Attendees also learned the latest federal employment regulations and requirements including how to create an affirmative action plan and what to do if your company is audited from Albarado.
