Amethon today announces it has joined the Acision Innovation Network, enabling it to offer mobile internet and viral MMS analytics to mobile operators across the world. By joining the network, Amethon can provide advanced insight and revenue generating opportunities for Acision's customers playing within the mobile advertising field.

The addition of Amethon to the Acision Innovation Network will allow mobile operators to access Amethon's Mobile Analytics and Content Fingerprinting solutions through their local Acision account team, which provide advanced insight into mobile internet traffic and tracking of innovative viral MMS campaigns.

Mobile web browsing is rapidly growing as consumers upgrade to more capable handsets, larger data plans and access widely available off-deck content and applications. The challenge for mobile operators is to understand which off-deck sites consumers find most popular, and so help provide easy access to compelling sites and content, measure the engagement of portals and mobile advertising campaigns, and thereby increase overall revenue. Amethon's Mobile Analytics provides advanced near real-time analytics to maximise revenue and better service consumers and advertising partners' needs .

Person-to-person MMS messaging has also grown from a simple photo sharing mechanism to a bearer of rich content that is quickly and virally forwarded between subscribers. Each MMS that is forwarded generates revenue for the mobile operator, however it has been difficult for operators to understand the most popular types of content or to measure the revenue generated by viral content campaigns. Content Fingerprinting is Amethon's patent-pending product that detects the content that is generating the most MMS revenue for the mobile operator, and provides detailed analysis of the success of viral revenue stimulation campaigns and viral mobile advertising campaigns.

"It is my pleasure to announce that Amethon's industry leading Mobile Analytics and Content Fingerprinting products can now be accessed from Acision. Amethon is known for their premium mobile reporting products for mobile operators, and this partnership offers strong support for our business," said Geoff McGrath, VP Global Market Development at Acision.

"Amethon's Mobile Analytics and Content Fingerprinting solutions help operators capture revenue from mobile internet browsing and create new revenue streams from viral MMS. The partnership with Acision will help us to bring those benefits to Acision's global mobile operator customer base," said Michael Stone, CEO of Amethon Solutions
