Fremont, CA (PRWEB) October 7, 2009
Rick Delgado of http://www.thewoofpack.com would like to announce that his company will be participating in the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters' Presents 4 Pets campaign, also known as P4P. This event is planned to coincide with National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week, November 1 - 7, and is an annual collection drive to provide desperately needed support to keep area shelters and pet rescue services safe and operational.
Mr. Delgado has set the goal of collecting a minimum of $5,000 worth of donations in what will be the second year his company has participated in P4P. The program is set to run until the end of November and participants from all over the United States are urging their clients to make whatever donations they can in money, toys, treats, blankets, towels, leashes, collars, newspapers, etc.
"Through this program, we hope to generate awareness of community shelters and pet rescues and the important role they serve," commented Rick Delgado, owner of The Woof Pack. "This is a great opportunity for all animal lovers, pet owner or not, to get involved and make a difference. Through your donations, you'll be supporting the shelters and pet rescues and possibly saving an animal." Because of the pressures the current economy is putting on these charities, donations such as cat and dog food are needed more than ever.
