Eco friendly flooring materials that are made in the USA are fast becoming the new choice for new commercial builds that are going green.

Unlike lumber liquidation companies that send their wood to China to get infused with chemicals, Staybull Flooring™ is simply glue and reclaimed hardwood strips. It is 100% eco-friendly and safe for the environment, homes, and commercial use.

Flooring™ is proud to announce that the recently opened Montréal-Trudeau Airport Marriott Hotel features eco-friendly Brazilian Cherry flooring. The hotel’s Bijou Resto – Bar has a bright and modern atmosphere that provides travelers with a comfortable place to eat and relax. The Brazilian Cherry floors provided by Staybull Flooring™ also prove that eco- flooring can be durable, cost-effective, yet still elegant.

According to Rosi Lehr, “Green building continues to gain momentum. As cities and businesses continue to endorse using sustainable and eco-friendly building techniques, the need for innovative products that don’t produce waste keeps growing. So, having the Montréal-Trudeau Airport Marriott Hotel use our product clearly shows that green building with eco-friendly materials like Staybull Flooring™ is fast becoming the standard for many commercial applications.” Rosi went on to say that, “Unlike lumber liquidation companies that send their wood to China to get infused with chemicals, Staybull Flooring™ is simply glue and reclaimed hardwood strips. It is 100% eco-friendly and safe for the environment, homes, and commercial use.”

The Staybull Flooring™ finishing process emits no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s). This ensures that no outgassing will occur after installation. The pre-finished flooring has a 7 coat aluminum oxide finish to increase the abrasion resistance of the wear layer. This has become extremely popular on high end grades of hardwood flooring because of its durability and resistance to scratching. This UV cured finish is much harder and more durable than a finish that is applied on the job site. The Staybull Flooring™ eco-flooring lines include:

  •     Brazilian Cherry aka Jatoba
  •     Iroko aka African Teak
  •     Santos Mahogany
  •     Birch
  •     Andiroba aka Royal Mahogany
  •     White Oak
  •     Red Oak
  •     Maple
  •     American Walnut
  •     American Cherry

The Staybull Flooring™ lines of eco flooring are produced from reclaimed strips of hardwood lumber that other flooring companies wastefully leave behind. Craftsmen and furniture makers have known for hundreds of years that wide boards tend to cup, therefore the most stable table top or other furniture part is one which is glued from numerous narrow boards to eliminate the natural stresses found in lumber. Staybull Flooring™ has taken this simple concept to the next dimension in utilizing fine craftsman concepts to make any floor a quality piece of art. Staybull Flooring™ utilizes up to 98% of the original raw material compared to 50% - 60% that standard hardwood flooring uses.

About Staybull Flooring™.
Staybull Flooring™ is an eco friendly flooring alternative to bamboo, and other hardwood flooring. Staybull Flooring™ is produced through an innovative reclamation and manufacturing process which fuses strips of unwanted wood waste together to create a strong and dimensionally stable product that won’t cup like traditional wood flooring.
