Maggie Siebel of American Prosthetics & Orthotics (APO) recently received her certification in prosthetics from the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, & Pedorthics (ABC). ABC-certified individuals are considered leaders in the profession and provide the highest quality of patient care, along with excellence in research and orthopedic design. Siebel, who completed her residency requirements at APO’s Clive office, will continue seeing patients there, as well as in nursing homes and hospitals on an as-needed basis.
Siebel is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a degree in biomedical engineering. She completed the Blended Learning Certificate Program at Northwestern University’s Prosthetic-Orthotic Center (NUPOC), Chicago, which combines off-campus study with on-campus clinical experiences.
A native of Waterloo, Seibel and her husband live in West Des Moines.
