Psghettiface.com celebrates every child's first encounter with spaghetti, the messier the better.

Pasta with Marinara sauce is a perfect meal for children learning to feed themselves, and many parents enjoy setting a plate of warm spaghetti in front of their son or daughter, watching as they eat and inevitably wear some of the meal. The joy and utter mess is always worth remembering and many parents take pictures to remember the moment.

To spread the happiness, Rao's Specialty Foods, Inc. has created Psghettiface.com, a monthly contest and ongoing collection of spaghetti plastered kids for the amusement and enjoyment of all. "The photos always bring a smile to my face and remind me of my girls at that age." says Sharon Straci, Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Rao's Specialty Foods, and the judge with the final vote for the monthly contest.

Matthew Mohr, Director of Ecommerce states, "We are looking for kids who eat with gusto. They discover the joy of feeding themselves and of course, pasta makes just about every kid happy. In the best photos, the kids haven't quite mastered hand to mouth which makes for good mayhem." Once a photo is chosen for display on Psghettiface.com, entrants are encouraged to invite their friends to vote. The entries with the most votes are tallied at the end of the month and Rao's panel of judges chooses the winner. The parents or grandparents of Mr./Miss Psghettiface receive a little red wagon full of Rao's products and a cute stuffed bear.

For the inaugural September contest, the people have spoken. With 113 votes, 'Nicky' wins the title of Mr. Psghettiface. Lynn Iovino, Creative Director says, "We couldn't agree more. All of the entries were wonderful but Nicky has the right amount of attitude and sauce coverage." she laughed. "We're just glad we didn't have to clean him up."

All of the entries for the September contest will receive a jar of Rao's Marinara Sauce and a bag of Rao's artisanal Cavatelli Pasta. October's contest has already gotten off to a brisk pace with many cute photos; it will be tough to pick a winner.
