Odyssey Innovative Designs (Odyssey) is please to announce that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has awarded Odyssey the official patent for its Platform and Multiple Box Case design, featured in the Glide-Style Series. In addition, Odyssey is now shipping new skus for two existing professional DJ case lines, the Black Label and Designer Series.
The USPTO has issued a Notice of Allowance for Odyssey's patent application in connection with its Platform and Multiple Box Case in the field of disc jockey equipment, which is featured in Odyssey's Glide-Style Series. The patent utilizes a slide-able platform that allows the user to operate a laptop or other accessories in tandem with the operation of audio equipment, without taking any more space than existing disc jockey cases. In addition, the multi-functional patented case incorporates optimal ergonomics, safety, durability and cost-effectiveness. This recent patent award adds to Odyssey's existing portfolio of design patents.

Designed to meet the same product protection criteria as Odyssey's original Flight Zone pro ATA series, the Black Label is constructed with heavy-duty steel hardware, an aluminum trim, and finished with an anodized and/or powder coated in a black texture for a one of a kind look. This series is now available for product categories that include turntables, DJ Mixers, DJ CD players, CD and turntable DJ consoles, DJ coffin stands, and combo racks with more categories to be covered in the near future. Odyssey's Designer Series is constructed of the same high-quality components as the Black Label but is designed with a blue-on-black or red-on-black finish with anodized aluminum trim and heavy-duty steel hardware. The Designer Series now includes models available in universal cases for DJ CD players, DJ mixers, and turntables. More specifically, both product series includes Pioneer CDJ medium and large format coffins, Denon CD player cases, Numark NS7 and iDJ2 cases, Technics 1200-style turntable cases, Vestax digital controller cases, Hercules digital controller cases, and more.
