Its first two guides cover key shopping routes in Paris and Vancouver, and soon, San Francisco.

Today, has added Street View to its Vancouver shopping walks, adding a significant wow factor to the site.

"We are thrilled to be able to include street-level views of the streets and shops on our walks in Vancouver," says Karen Henrich, founder and CEO of Chicwalks Media Inc. "For months, users have reported that they love this feature on our Paris walks because it allows visitors to be instantly transported to the streets of Paris."

Vancouver is the first Canadian city featured on, in anticipation of the huge influx of tourists expected for the 2010 Winter Olympics. "Vancouver's shopping scene is engaging and varied, ranging from top-name, international designers and chains, to funky, independent boutiques and unique, locally designed fashions, shoes, jewellery and home decor items," Henrich says. "We document and organize it all in a way that has never been done before and Google's interactive, free and easy-to-use tools significantly enhances the information."

Through her tour company, Nuit Blanche Tours, Henrich has developed and led popular shopping tours for hundreds of English-speaking clients in Paris. She created shopping walks for customers by conducting her own meticulous research, on foot and online, and asking the advice of fashionable French friends. was born when she brought all of that research together in one user-friendly format that allows users to shop the way they want to, on a street-by-street basis. Paris and Vancouver are just the beginning for, which plans to expand to other major shopping cities around the world. San Francisco will be the first U.S. city to be added to the site, and research is in progress now.

Customized Media & VIP Shopping Tours has recently expanded its popular guided tours to Vancouver.
