MSAE Concludes Internet Radio Series With Programs Focused on Event Planning

Midwest Society of Association Executives are featured guests on Radiospectives. Three new programs offer approaches for effective event planning in today's economy.

Meetings and events are the life blood of associations. Those tasked with planning them are continually challenged to find new ideas at good value. These radio shows offer listeners out-of-the-box approaches that should spark more ideas and help ensure a successful event.

Radiospectives (http://www.radiospectives.com), the Internet radio station created exclusively for business professionals, concludes its 12-program series with three interviews featuring members of the Midwest Society of Association Executives (http://www.msae.com).

The final grouping of Internet radio interviews features special guests from MSAE knowledgeable on the topic of creative event planning.

The schedule, featured guests and program summaries follow:

Two Related Programs on October 13 and October 15, 1:00 pm:
Peg Guilfoyle, President of Peg Projects Inc. and
Mike Nowick, Director of Member Services for the Minnesota Telecom Alliance.

Peg and Mike worked together on the Minnesota Telecom Alliance 100-year celebration. Peg Projects specializes in producing books and presentations on regional history. The MN Telecon Alliance wanted to publish a book on their 100-year history and progress. And to bring it to life, a special program was produced that featured actors from the Minneapolis Guthrie Theatre. Peg and Mike discuss how they managed these projects and the overall impact on association members.

October 20, 1:00 pm: Catherine Berg, Assistant Director of Meetings for ACA International.

ACA International is the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals. Catherine Berg offers meeting and exhibit planning advice and example scenarios. Her program includes cost saving tips for large and small groups, plus how to negotiate contracts for cost savings.
